    Al Sabo Maintenance?

I was out at Al Sabo today and found there there are a few trees across the paths from the storms earlier this week. Is it ok to go out there with a saw and clear the paths, or will the city have a hissy fit?

I don't actually have a chainsaw, but if it is alright to do, and if someone were so inclined, I could tell them where the trees are (at least the ones I came across).

    Al Sabo?

Living in Marshall now, but originally from Kzoo-

do they allow riding there now? My buds and I rode there in the mid 90s in full knowlege it was "at our own risk..."

    Maybe something's changed.

Yes, it is available to mountain bikes. They have restricted the bike traffic to most of the trails that are south of the land bridge which works out to about 6 miles. Here is the Texas Township page that talks about it closing in '92 and reopening in '93 after some trail work and agreed restrictions to which paths bikes are allowed on. Also has maps:

The six mile loop is a fun ride and not overly challenging. You should check it out sometime.
