New question here. Riding around the Chihuahua City

    Hi there,

I know there are some riders in Chihuahua, but i donīt know what is there around the city to ride. Any cool routes? Or we all should drive to La Sierra to get some riding?

    So post your routes people!

You'd rather make a search, but I know there is some good riding around Chihuahua. However, the surroundings as you know are mostly flat.

I see lots of roadies but not much MTB'ers.

The Sierras are like 200kms away from Chihuahua City. Not a sunday drive... well, maybe but you'll need all day long.

I don't know about Cd. Chihuahua, but there was a trail in Sta. Isabel that I saw a few years ago.

In Cuauhtemoc I rode a really good trail 3 years ago, but my friend said it had almost disappeared because the landowners started to put up fences. I will check on the status if you're insterested in going there.

Otherwise, most of the guys I know ride on doubletrack and dirt roads.

There are several places to go just outside of the city.

Neer the water dams there is path to Cumbres de Majalca. Other rides start there too.
Going to Santa Isabel, a couple minutes outside Chihuahua. Or going in direction to Delicias.

There are several rides involving the really small towns south of Chihuahua.

There are several groups there, my brother in law rides there, I don't know his current schedule, but I will ask.
