    New Mexico a go go

No...you don't need a passport to visit New Mexico. I had the opportunity to check out some of the local riding in the ABQ area. The foot hills stuff is pretty wide open. No need for gears there. Made me want to get a single speed. Otero was a bit different. Long gradual climbs, and descents of swoopy, swinging, singletrack. Riding an 8" travel bike on these trails was overkill. A rigid SS would have been nice to have. I am going to need a lot more time than what I have now to ride it all. Otero will truly be missed when they close it.

    Here are some pics.
Photos 1,2,3 are of nice singletrack.
Photo 4 is of the tracks the dumb@ss off trail excursions that were all over the place. I guess they are abusing it while they can.
