Double Stoke.... La Mina-Discovery, yah, again...

Yesterday I wanted SOOOOOOO bad to ride my bike (especially with the new add-ons) so took the MoFo-Blade for a spin.

Aids and Oscar were waiting for me to make one of the most grueling (for us) routes in this area. La Mina - Discovery.

It's about 35km-37km and is a singletrack delight with some pain thrown in for good measure.

We started by 9:15 and hit the cars at 14:30... Discount half an hour rest stop for a chela at Espiritu Santo and another 15min for Aids to patch (twice) his snakebitten rear tube and you get the whole riding time. Of course, we're slow as a wounded turtle... on the climbs On the way down Oscar and Aids are fast, I'm slow as a scared wounded turtle.

Needless to say it was uberfun and uberpainful... But what a blast.

We were riding over a THICK layer of leaves and in the middle of the driest of the year, we managed to find some mud.

I was stoked riding my bike and Oscar was stoked at the new toys on his bike (Julie Disc brakes and the all-mighty Zoke All Mountain 1)

I was a bit surprised to find out the bike climbing better than ever and hitting pedals against rocks. BB should be lower...

    Day was awful...

The Helius should be too much for these trails... but we can take you at Ajusco where it should be right into its element.

Around here it looks more like ML grounds...

oh, yeah... but we're old and ghey... So single ply is the only thing we can pedal uphill at our age.

I wish I could ride on tubes alone!

    Yo tampoco...

Parece MUY orientado a "gravity riding".
