    Thanks for your thanking me :) i'm glad that document helped. But your original post and later contribution have helped much more!

    I've just ordered a 120 mm Tower Pro, Tapered & QR15, for my new 29er frame built. Perhaps I'll go deeper and experiment the solutions described in that thread to fine tune it. I'll write down my experience.

    I would really like to, but unfortunately I can't afford it right now. I ultimately settled with sending my air shock in to be warrantied, again. I hope to get a coil soon enough though.

    Thanks, I appreciate it so far. I have a few other questions though. When measuring the eye-to-eye length of my shock, do I measure from the middle of each "eye," the inside of them, or the outside of them?

    After hearing a number of great things about the CCDB, is there any reason not to get it?

    Hey, I was wondering if I could get your opinion on putting a coil shock on my bike. I have read here on the forums about how some bikes are designed for their rear suspension to be either air or coil and some bikes it doesn't matter. I had originally planned on getting a monarch through push and am still considering that, but I am now considering just getting a coil shock. FWIW, the weight penalty doesn't bother me, that and I weigh 191 pounds.

    Under the geometry tab is the specs on the bike.
