Dear Ms Cyclelicious,
My girlfriend says my diet is atrocious. I'm lazy, so "cooking" is either boiling water for ramen noodles, or microwaving frozen veggies that come packed in a plastic envelope. Aside from that, I eat sandwiches, crackers, cookies, chips, donuts and occasionally, jerky.
When I'm eating at a restaurant, if it's not fast food, it's usually a diner where it's eggs and grits. Sometimes I even go to restaurants where I order a salad.
I know you are all about nutrition. I bought some apples and bananas the other day, but I don't feel any better. My point is that I feel pretty good. But now I have to keep a food journal and show it to my girlfriend.
Do you think she's really serious about this? Is nutrition really that important?
