You've thought thru this. 2500 shipped is fair. Heck, sales tax alone on a new bike would cost $350. Of the five bikes I have right now two were purchased online (triathlon and commuter), two from LBS (recent trail bikes), one used from a lady's basement ("It's some kind of Italian bike, I don't think it's ever been ridden more than once or twice, and it is the ugliest color of mint green I've ever seen!" is what she said....) , and all are great. Happy trails. And let us now what you decide.

    Scott,
Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post. I'm not replying in the thread to make sure I don't offend the owner. The bike is listed on Pinkbike, it is a large, raw color in Charlotte NC. I have wanted a RIP9 for about 2 years, but I couldn't defend spending 4500-5000 on a new bike. I offered $2500 shipped ( I am in Springfield MO)
I could pick up one of the other bikes mentioned new, by waiting 6 months. I agree with the first reply in the assurance of the warranty. But what I am willing to spend on a bike ($3500 tops) leaves me with a lesser frame in t he case of the Satori, and lesser fork and drivetrain with the Fuel or Stumpy.

Feel free to reply in the thread, the pm is in respect to the seller.

    Curt
