I got a new compression and rebound assembly under warranty.
Try coating the O-rings in grease before assembling to seal them good, and compress the fork halfway through its travel before bolting the lowers, to avoid high pressure when compressing all the way down. This last bit can help you save the MiCo O-rings, which are prone to leaking damping oil though the knobs. The only reason for them to leak (apart from overfilling the fork with damping oil) is the increase in air pressure when the fork compresses. This effect might also contribute to oil migrating from the lowers to the uppers (this is a theory of mine), specially if your O-rings are not in 100% condition.
