Andy, just to say I'm using a seatpost with layback (about 25mm), so taking that into account the difference is not so much at 15mm. But probably XL would be the better choice for me.

Thanks Andy, really appreciate your help. My large Endo measures around 590 in comparison, so I would say I need to order a XL Chilcotin. I would think that the sizing has changed due to the steeper seatpost angle combined with the slacker head angle. I'm 6ft 3.5ins tall so probably the large Chilcotin is good for 6ft to 6ft 2ins riders?

I already have a BOS Stoy and Deville on the Endo to move across to the new bike. I can buy a frame only option if I prefer, I have been told.

How is the painted finish? Have you seen any of the other finishes?

    Cheers

    Hi Robert,

I'm 6'1" (though I have a relatively long neck so my 'effective' height is probably 6'0') and I find the size perfect. My previous bike was a Lapierre Spicy in medium and that felt a bit cramped. In fact I used a large loaned Spicy for a while, which I much preferred. The measurement you've asked for is 505mm though the positioning of the saddle on the seatpost could allow for an increase or decrease in that figure. I guess you're a fair bit taller than me, or have a much longer inseam, as my maximum saddle height (my peddling uphill height) from the centre of the BB is 720mm.

Hope that helps. BTW if you see me in Surrey Hills, stop me and you can check out the bike for fit.

    Cheers,
    Andy
