They're some local hiking/4wheeler trails that are pretty much in Palmer. Close to get to and still pretty fun. The rain really messes them up too, the dirt gets super slick and kinda dangerous. I'll check those other trails out, I just started working and don't have a lot of money to spend on gas getting places.

    Thanks for the heads up!

Nice, a couple guys hit Russian 2 weeks ago and said it was really good. I've done the Rippey trails off Maud Rd, Kepler/Long Lake, and some of the Mat-Su River trails.

No but I would love to. I recently got back into riding again after being off for a few years. I hit up the hillside trails the other day, and basically wore myself out by the time I got to what I thought was the top. I had a great time but my legs were shot. This weekend I rode with a new friend from flattop down through hornets nest. It was amazing as I really like the downhill.

I'm fairly new to Anchorage and haven't had a real chance to get out and discover. I got on mtbr to connect with other riders. I wish I could make a post but I haven't completed my intial 5 post. When I do I'll be looking to meet up with people interested in riding in the evenings. I'd also like to find someone interested in riding Alyeska on a regular basis.

What about you, where do you usually ride?

Hey man, where in Ak are you? Sounds like you hit Resurrection already? I'm in Palmer and looking to do some more trails.
