I have had no clearence issues ever((no tire/ frame/fork interference)
I've also been running a 1x system, but did it using a Sunrace 11-46. 11spd cassette and a 36t chain ring using Sram XO rear derailluer.
As I've mentioned in the past, this bike just rocks, love it.
The conversion made this already great bike better.

Hey Jeff - I've got a 2012 blur xcc I built up a few years ago. A large - exact same bike as yours. I've been contemplating converting to 27.5 and a sram 1x set up. I've read most of your posts and seems you love your set up. I'm thinking of putting on some i9s - https://industrynine.com/trail-enduro/trail-245
Inner and outer rim diameters seem to be just .5mm bigger than your rims. So seems I should work. I have a 100mm fox fit rlc fork that appears it should have enough clearance. Any thoughts before I attempt it?

Also as an FYI I just got back from a bike trip to park city utah and rented a Bronson carbon. I liked it - different than the blur - handlebars wide, little less nimble but obviously more travel etc. I really liked the slacker head tube angle.
