New question here. Silly question, anybody ever modified a Mavic crosmax 20 wheel to fit a maverick fork

I have a set of wheel that I have been unable to sell and I will like to install them on my new ML-7..

Thanks for any and all input..

Yes, it was done 10 years or so ago for Ariel. I saw it. I do not know how it was done, except it was an Engineer with a kick ass machine shop.

Great news the Maverick king axle is only One mm wider in diameter for the Mavic bearings so I'm pretty sure He can just remachine the king axle or just make one really similar to the King..

I let you guys know soon..

Well my friend JP did it again..

I got the axle today and it fits perfectly..

Now is time to sell my King axle and the Maverick front wheel, since I'm staying with this set up for the long term..

king axle on the top for comparation...

He use the "Nut" from the mavic axle to keep things simple and add a big old rubber seal on the rotor side for better weather protection.

Besides what people say I never had a problem with this crossmax wheels, plus they look really hot.

I wish they where white but grey is what I have.

Oh I went for a ride this afternoon and it works great, super rigid with no "Independent leg movement" at all..

Another alternative for super high end wheels on the cheap..

I have about 50miles on the new crossmax wheels and the front axle is working great, zero flexing, rotor rub, twist, nothing, it feels just like stock..

Thanks but sadly in this case I didn't do much besides having the idea (even if it was done before I did not know about it), sending the parts to get measure and paying for the R&D, in any case I'm really happy is working out so well..

White wheels are just a powdercoating away.

Or spray paint if your really cheap and don't mind touching them up.
