Is this price ok for a 2004 ML7?

things to consider...

999 Euros looks to be about $1200 USD. That frame is in EXCELLENT condition and I love the old school decals (I have a 2001 ML7 with the Easton tubeset, CNC'ed damper body, welded by Klein). So here are a couple of observations: 1) that is the older style magnesium MonoLink which has since been upgraded to alloy with revised geometry, and 2) I believe that is the first generation air damper which has also gone through 1 or 2 revisions.

With that said, $1200 seems a bit steep. I haven't upgraded the rear damper or MonoLink on my Maverick, but I do love the way it rides. My thinking is if I want the upgrades I would save my $$ and get a Durance rather than alter what has become my all-time favorite bike.

If you do take the plunge, you will not be disappointed. Build it up with decent parts (throw on an SC32 for that frame) and ride it hard. You will be rewarded for a long time to come.

i hope you guys excuse my non perfect english.:D
my big, really big problem is, i bought a new ML8 complete bike 2 weeks ago on ebay uk.
it was really big stress to get a bike from great britain to austria if the itemseller accept no shipping. that was hard! we made a one week journey to took up my new bike!

look at the price and the components.
the condition is NEW! if i saw the bike fist time in reality i cant believe it. he sold me a brand new (3 times ridden) maverick ml8 complete bike with top components for 1390 usd.:D
seller is/was an it-specialist, he had no more time for his bike. (3 rides in 18 month!)
rims looks like used on the photos, but nothing is/was used!
its 1 week ago i ve be a ml8-rider, and i cant believe this ebay-deal, iam so happy,....omg

so thats the reason why my ML7 should or must be sale. but i dont know about the price for a 6 year old,-but new frame. i really paid in 2005 more than 2300 usd for this kit, iam first owner. 6 years old, but its a new frame, 6 birhtdays ridden.
maverick is absolutly passion for me, so i use the frame for decoration and so i could see and touch it every day in my livingroom. for real riding i have more bikes, so it doesnt hurt me.
i dont need 2 Mavericks, if one of them was an medium or small, i dont sell it.(for my girlfriend). but they are large frames, it doesnt match for a small person.

its not important for me to get 1200 usd or 1000 or something, its very important for me to sell my ml7 to a guy who knows what he gets if you understand. iam searching for a maverick fan, not for an crosscountry-racer who see the minimal weight of the frame.

maverick is passion! and it should be for ever!

nice weekend!
