    palomino maverick upgrade

I'm sure this has been answered somewhere in here but I couldn't find it. Just curious as to if the travel changes on the Palomino when you upgrade to the maverick sealed bearing linkage? I've looked on the Maverick website and haven't found anything stating this and have tried my LBS with those guys being just as clueless as I am.

No, the travel does not change. You will have a much better cable routing for the FD and the BB is placed more forwards.

    Do it!

oh I've already got it on and it rode so different (in an amazingly better way) that I thought maybe it had another inch of travel. thanks for the info. Definitely a worthy upgrade for all palominos.

I've done about 40 retrofits since the parts came available.

Anyone know a place to get the upgrade for less than the $250 listed on Maverick's website?
