    New Matic

Hey. I am wondering what a fair price for a brand new 2007 Maverick Matic would be? I might like to upgrade from my older ML7 (2002) and most bike shops are hurting for sales right now. I know a shop that has a 2007 Matic, not built up, with the M50 kit. Seems to me like they should be willing to wheel and deal on it, considering the 2009 bikes are out, but they are not going as low as I would expect.

Almost exactly a year ago I bought a new 2007 Matic M50 from Beyond Bikes for $2400. Don't remember if that included shipping. Needed minor assembly and adjusting which you shouldn't need if buying local. Love the bike though

    Frame & SC32 Fork

I bought a Matic Frame (Blue with is 6069 tubing not 6061) and a SC 32 from Beyond BIkes this Summer on closeout for 1099.00. $400 for a set of DT Swiss 4.2 Wheels, I pulled together a mid grade build kit I assembled by going through my LBS trailer in the back and buying up his old stock and I ended up with about 2K total with X9 Shift & Deore Brakes.... SO if it's all new current stock $2400 would be a decent buy....

You can snag a 2007 ML8 w/DUC 32 now for about 3K if you ride a medium I bought the last LG .....

OK...The price it is offered at is $2500. Seems to me like being that it has been a year since Ragman got the same bike for $2400, that it should be discounted more. It also may or may not have a Speedball. Apparently the shop has not opened up the box yet. Apparently, in they are telling me that some kits that year had Speedballs and some did not. I think that is a dealbreaker for me if there is no Speedball.

Hey stempson, I have the same bike (2007 Matic) lightly used and in great shape and I have been considering selling it. Send me a PM if you're interested! Thanks.
