KING 24mm/Maverick ISO DISC Hubs on Ebay

If you've tried to find a 24mm KING hub for your spanky new Maverick fork, you know they are very hard to come by. I called dozens of Mav dealers thinking I might get lucky but to no avail. Running out of ideas (other than waiting 2-3 weeks for a special order) I searched Ebay and found Aspire VeloTech's store. These guys rock and keep just about everything King in stock. Check out their store at the link below. I should have mine by Friday and will post pics of the wheelset after the build. King/Mavic A317/DT

It's at the shop, but I saw it last night, dead sexy, no question about it...I left it there becuase they were going to try to get the rear wheel back into round/true for me, plus I can't ride right now....also having the REBA that came off there brought back down to 80mm for my "mystery build" in progress now.

interested to see how the King hub......

works on a Maverick fork. The Maverick hub has "knurling" on the axle that is supposed to be a key component to the axle-fork interface. I was also told the King hubs don't have centering spacers that can make rotor alignment tricky. I hope it works well for you, as I would LOVE to have a King front hub to match my rear Lookning forward to the reports. Good riding.

Alright, we get these long, elaborate race/ride reports, but not wreck report? What happened, did I miss it?

And we neve got to see Ionic build shots. Swapped before the paint dried?

That one never took a breath of that fresh Arkansas air - build shots will likely be coming from Michigan!

no big deal, just took a header off the bike at speed and road-rashed the right side, and sprained the she-ite out of my left thumb - aparently in a similar injury as skiiers often have when a ski-pole is ripped out of your hand faster than you can release it...i went down/over the bars on the right side, and apparently the handlebar torqued my left thumb about 45 degree's further than it naturally prefers to go...

no big write up, but I did describe a bit more 1/2 down this somewhat passionate, though admirably non-flamish fork performance thread: WB vs. Reba - those who've spent time on both
