How does your DUC 32 behave / feel?

My DUC32 has maybe a dozen rides on it since Ethan rebuilt it. It rides infinitely better now but the travel is not particularly progressive. Essentially, the first 3" of travel are very soft and the last 3" of travel are rather firm. This wouldn't seem like sucha bad thing, except using the front brake causes some serious dive! Facing downhill while braking really exaggerates this. It results with me spending time behind the saddle to keep from going over the bars.

However, bombing rough downhills when I'm not on the brakes is marvelous!

Did you have him install the internal floating piston?

When did he do the work? Sounds like the damper cartridge has lost some pressure.

OK, I'm an idiot. I checked the pressure and it was down to 75PSI! I put it up to around 125PSI and now I'm getting about 5" of travel out of it. I've either got to ride harder or lower the pressure to get that last 1" of travel.

I actually blew out my old shock pump while airing it up and had to buy the new Rock Shock one. It's much more compact and I like how the hose has a swivel at the shock body to make it easier to position. It was pretty cheap on Amazon and was a Prime! product so I got free 2-day shipping

Ebay has DUC32 forks. Then have it fully rebuilt and setup for 29" wheel. If you get one, Scot@absolutebikes.com has parts and can rebuild them.
