Listen! Brand new Dmount for bash guard!

    Check this sweetness out:

Maverick machinist got an idea and milled the FD mounting area deeper on a stock Dmount so your front derailleur works better and looks the part when running an outer bash guard.

Am I right in assuming that it allows the derailleur to be mounted 'lower' to cover only the small and middle ring thus making the shifting for those two rings better?

    TIA

Has anyone tried the lower D-mount yet? Is it night and day improvement or rather subtle when using dual ring setup?
