We rode Sunday, and we'll be there again tonight. Overall, the riding is good and the trails are mostly dry, but there's still a lot of smaller debris, and the blowdowns are slowly being cleared by DCR.

Good news! Thanks! I'll add it to my list of places that are okay to go too. The list was pretty short a week ago and I'm happy to say it's growing. I have to say though that Otis (Cape Cod in general, but I never made it to ToT) kept me really happy this winter.

If you are looking for more mellow stuff stay on the right hand side of the main road that goes down the middle.

ended up doing pretty much the whole outer perimeter with a few reroutes because i will never understand those signs in that place.
Conditions were pretty good, had a blast.

The intersections are marked so that the signs are readable when facing North. Using this fact and the DCR map, you should be able to navigate.

We did a 3 hour tour today with chainsaws. Every deadfall that was on my radar got cleared. Even the climb to Big Dipper!

Nice work Jack! Did 20 miles on Saturday and about 10 yesterday (almost all climbing up and down Prospect). The trails are in really good shape. A few trees still down on some trails, but good overall.

I'm planning on riding in Wompy on Saturday morning. I've been riding mostly in the southern two-thirds of the park. Are there any must-ride trails in the northern third?

The reservoir trails are a blast and if you're looking for some rooty, technical trails, try the nature study. There are also so great trails on the western side of the main road through the park.

Yes, all intersections are marked. You can grab a map at the visitor's center

Wompy is very well marked grab a trail map and remember this... The trail makers always facing north... Makes navigating the park a breeze

I know the Landmine Classic is this Sunday, Is it OK to ride there Saturday or is this considered a NO,NO?
If it is indeed OK will the course routes be marked?

Yes it is Sunday. It will be mostly marked if history is a guide. You can ride it. Conditions should be great.

The marking started yesterday and continues. I'm not sure how much is completed yet, but will be riding there tonight. No problem riding the trails until race day.

had such a fun time racing there on sunday...I wish the 25 mile course would just stay marked, for us directionally challenged riders ....i'm always lost when i go in there otherwise (not often there).

Is there no way organizers could just leave those arrows up?

They are required to take them down. They were gone at 5:00 the same day.

But you can use this map.

Just started riding Wompatuck again this summer after 10+ years out of mountain biking entirely and realized how much I love this place. I grew up in Weymouth and used to ride over to it and mess around all day with friends, but it wasn't until recently that I woke up and realized I had moved almost across the street from Wompy and decided to start riding again. Love it. Thanks to all who help maintain the trails.

    Wompy Conditions?

Wompy was wet today, lots of puddles, some axle deep
The bony terrain was better, almost dry.
