Wendell State Forest - Adventure Series Ride July 12

NEMBA's Mountain Bike Adventure Series continues at Wendell State Forest

    July 12 2009 - Registration starts at 9:00 AM

Awesome riding awaits - over 5 miles of new Singletrack since our last MBAS up there. Camping just down the road in Warwick at the Wagonwheel Campground, or primitive camping on site.

New loops for the novices and intermediates including an option for one of my favorite trails anywhere, kinda hilly, but oh so flowy and smooth.

Everything but flowy and smooth for the Expert loops (well that's not really true you just have to look around the rocks)

Jamie will be doing Barbecue to benefit the Pan Mass Challenge.

Raffle for a new Fox Forx!!!

    Kona Demo Fleet onsite!

Just an hour and change from Boston or Hartford, 10 miles east of the junction of Route 2 and I-91.

    See you there.

Is this a guided group ride, or a self lead ride on the loop of your choice?

The Adventure Series Rides, are arrowed loops. That isn't to say that guided groups won't be happening...

We will be arrowing the Expert loop to include just about everything worth riding in the park. Follow the arrows and you won't be disappointed.

The Beginner and Intermediate loops will exclude varying amounts of the more nasty stuff.

    Hey Espin,

If you'd like to, you can set up a booth at our KONA-FOX SHOX NEMBA ride this Sunday at wendell SF, in wendell, MA and hawk your wares. Seriously, we'd like you to maybe give some sort of discount to nemba members or to those who sign up at the event, but other than that, if you'd like to get your shirts on the scene at a great riding/ advocacy New england event fell free, just give me shout

    All Systems Go

Everything is looking great in Wendell. Loops marked away from HQ, New Bridgework completed.

Bring your climbing legs and your technical skills. You'll need both.

The little rain from the T Storms last night shouldn't have impacted anything much. Load up with coffee and head for Wendell.

Good times are to be had.

    See you there...

This is the 15-20 mile - 3.5 hour Expert loop we put together.
Many of the trails don't have markers, so you might miss one or two following the map...

The intermediate - 8-10 mile 1.5 hour loop excluded the outlying trials.

You could also follow the orange blazed trail - from Park HQ - that was our beginner loop as an out and back.
