visiting Northbridge area, need trail update

I'm heading down this weekend to hang with my dad and want to get a ride in Friday. How are the trails? Since I can't seem to hook up with anybody down there, I'll probably ride the stuff around Goat Hill and across from the Sewer Plant. I don't like to take all that many chances riding alone since I snapped a tooth in a faceplant a while back

What is the overall trail condition down in the Norhtbridge area? It's wet wet wet up here in VT. I don't mind mud per se, but I don't want to be the Outta Statah that comes down and beats the crap out of trails I don't help maintain.

    pax!

Ribbon Candy / Goat Hill / Badlands should be in great shape.

    thank, man!

Appreciate the heads-up. If the weather will only hold out another day...

Is the Badlands the stuff on the other side of 122 from the Sewer Plant?

@circusjunk: So, it has a name! I only "discovered" it about three years ago. I've been riding the old dirtbike trails (to get to goat hill) there since 1993 and I wonder how long I've been missing that fun stuff. It's really nice. A good mix of twisty singletrack and rocks. Wish I could ride it more than twice a year. i bet a regular could rail on that, but it's an almost-new experience for me every time.

I was just over there for a post-work ride, came in via Plummers and found one of those bridges to be pretty much FUBAR. I bet there is a way to get around it to get over to Goat Hill but I just played around Plummers for a bit. Much more water than I had seen a few weeks ago. Still pretty damn fun!

    Which bridge is out?

I'm headed there this weekend and I'd like to plan my ride. Thanks, LD
