Nice report with pix JeffSkisMontana. I ride these trails a lot, especially the Stow Town Forest since I live next to it. The Flagg Hill sign is actually one that I made so it is fun to see that photo. Maybe we can ride together some time. Am not on this forum much but I will keep an eye on it.

Tmhar28.......put Pine Bluff recreation area. In Stow into a GPS or Mapquest and it will give you directions from Framingham....your about a 25 minute ride away if you live on the west side of town.....trails are pretty tame but have a few fun features and climbs.....YakFish...appreciate the sign on Flagg Hill...as a new person in the area...the signs and maps are really important.....had a guy from town show me a bunch of these trails and areas....then I found some maps on the town recreation site....Ride On!

How many miles of trails in the Stowe town forest? I live a little south of this and have never ridden there. I think I will head over there this week to check it out and try to ride Mt Pisgah in Northboro again. I have not been there in a while.

Not sure of the exact miles in STF.....but it can be ridden in a figure 8 with a few extra loops in about 1.5 hours....the beauty of the riding in Stow is the ability to link up different parcels...in addition to the Stow Necklace ride I described at the beginning of thread...you can easily add in the Desert in Marlboro and Sudbury....Marble hill on the opposite side of the necklace...then Delany project....someday the Annie Moore land too!

I checked out Stow Town forest today and I rode about 7 miles in total just kind of zig zagging all throughout the property. I thought it was decent ( not awesome), I liked the scenery. Would be a good place to take beginners or kids, just have them ride the Blue double track and maybe that white trail. I climbed the big hill and bombed back down, that was kind of fun. It wasn't very technical and that's Ok sometimes. Wish it was a bit bigger. But like you said, you can add in some additional parcels and make a longer ride. I'd have to figure that out. Anyways, it's always cool to check out a new place to ride around here.
