    PVNEMBA Weekend Ride #1 B-Street Sat 4/3

One of the many things PVNEMBA is aiming to do is a weekly weekend ride for those of us that can't make it out to the evening rides that are so popular. These rides will be scheduled at various trail systems throughout the valley and many will be led by me.

Now that Chaz and his crew have done some sprucing up at Batchelor St. I figured that this would be the perfect place to kick off these rides. We'll be meeting at the parking lot at B-street at 9:00 and aim to be on the trail at around 9:15. I'll be driving the green Passat wagon and riding a green On One Scandal with red wheels.

This will be an intermediate ride over some fairly technical terrain. We can take breaks as necessary and everyone will be waited for at trail junctions if we get spread out.

You do not have to be a NEMBA member to come on these rides but all NEMBA members who sign in will be entered in a drawing to win a titanium Moots Mooto X 29er frame. http://www.moots.com/#/product/bicyc...b/mooto-x_ybb/ If you're not a NEMBA member, information will be available as to how you can become one.

Please let me know if you're going to be joining us either by posting here, emailing me at kn_wyman@hotmail.com or give me a call at (413) 454-8423.

I hope to see you on Saturday.

    Kris

Wish I could make this but have to work that weekend (work two weekends, then get two off). I have found some good rides on this board so please keep posting. Also, looking to join NEMBA but I'm a sucker for raffles so can you maybe PM some info on joining and sneaking me into the raffle? Thanks.

    victim,

This isn't the only ride to get entered into the drawing, any NEMBA ride that you sign in to will get you entered. We plan on doing weekly weekend rides so you will have plenty of chances. We'll be posting them here, on the NEMBA forums http://www.nemba.org/forums/ and we also have a Facebook page if you're into that http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=...d=315925245443

Hope you can make it out to ride with us sometime soon.

Awesome. Glad to hear this. 10 confirmed and I imagine a few more will show up. Should be a great ride!

Is Batchelor rideable this weekend? I thought I heard otherwise.

It will be fine. It drains way better than most areas. Might want to avoid IMBA, Pond and Swamp trails.

Earl's might still be quite soggy, however.

I heard yesterday that besides being pretty leafy still, Earl's was dry and ride able. yay! so glad to be riding again....
