    Pedro's Mountain Bike Festival - July 28-30

So who's going? If you're wondering, it's in Lanesboro, MA and the site is here:

    http://www.pedrosfest.com/

I'll be there with a few buds. It was a blast when I was there in 2002.

    Yeah

It will be our 6th year as well (me and the wife) ...actually proposed to her on a 25 mile loop 2 years ago and can't wait for this year. Moght get some rain but it's always a blast regardless of the weather.

Question for Bo whiuch bike to bring to the festival?

It seems you've been there 6 times more than me: are there rugged trails where i can enjoy my 6" bike? I also have a 9" DH rigg i want to ride at Jiminy Peak, but am told its pretty tame, well compared to Diablo here in NJ. As for the group rides, from the pics it looked like lots of hardtails and XC bikes, can i bring an all mountain 6" ride and have fun, logs, rocks, ledges(little ones?) or is it more fluid flowy stuff thats more for a 4" bike?
I like my 4" bike but after 2 days, the other one is a bit more forgiving on the old joints.

I'll be there, volunteering for parking or registration friday night and saturday 3-7. Not a bad deal for free admission and a shirt. Anyone else?

    Sounds like a road trip

Amazing. See the videos on the pedrosfest website. I am so definitely taking a road trip there this summer. Can't wait to hit those dirt jumps especially if I don't sell my Giant DH Comp and get it working!

I did that in 05 and it wasnt a good experience. I have volunteered at festivals for years and no asked for more and gave less in return than Pedros. My friend and I finally walked off the job in disgust, and enjoyed what little of the festival was left. I will gladly Pay the $100 Jim

I'll never go again since I broke my ankle trying to catch a damn frisbee in the vendor area last year!
That was after a 3-4 hour ride up and down Jiminy Peak.
