    North Shore Trails and Conditions

I will be meeting up with a friend from Maine on Saturday afternoon to ride for a while and I am wondering what the trails in the North Shore area would be worth while checking out this time of year.

Are the trails easy to navigate or is it better to ride with a local?

Are the trails ridable at this point or has there been too much rain?

Any loop suggestions welcome. I'm riding an Intense 5.5 and my friend will be on a Yeti 575 so it's alright if the going gets a little rough at times.

    Thanks

    HP is looking great

I just got back from a short hour ride at Harold Parker and even the fireroads are dry. Singletrack was excellent. It can be tricky there but there are some old maps you can follow on Nemba's site and the singletrack loops together intuitively.

Yeah i just roll down the corner now, can't do the little drop with the tree there.

Is a park ranger going to clear this tree out? It looks like you will need a chain saw since its a big tree.

The Ranger has been notified about this tree and one other. We are requesting him to drop it and section it into a few large pieces for use. Should be dropped by mid next week.
