My first real crash today in Leominster state forest.

In Leominster state forest, doing the technical single track descent that cuts down from Fenton road to (I think) Brook road. I've taken this trail a few times now and when I came around a corner towards the bottom some joker had placed a new tree laying down across the trail (that god, what a comedian eh?) Hit me brakes, the front tire came up short on a big rock and stopped me dead, well, stopped the bike dead, I kinda kept going.
Since my legs stayed tangled up behind the handle bars after I launched the bike came after me, fortunately my body broke the bikes fall.

That should teach you to not hit your brakes

Next time, pedal faster and hop it

I don't hop too good yet, but that is good advice.
