For the second year in a row, we will be celebrating Independence Day with a bike ride and BBQ sponsored by Bicycles Unlimited!
Last year, more than 20 riders came out for this party - can we beat that this year? Riders of all abilities are welcome to join!
Come and show your patriotism by riding the infamous red, white and blue trails spanning the Greenfield Ridge surrounding Poets Seat Tower. The Greenfield ridge is rocky at the top, and smooth with rocks and roots in the lower parts. We will start with a warm up on paved and gravel roads over to Highland Pond where we will transition to some easy single track that will gradually lead us to the top of the ridge. After crossing Mountain Rd we'll finish on red - white - blue and hopefully catch the sun setting over Greenfield from the top of Poets Seat. Afterward, join us as we refuel with some beer and BBQ at Bicycles Unlimited. Non-alcoholic beverages, hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided but feel free to bring a beverage or dish to share.
Please let us know by Saturday, July 3rd, if you're attending this ride (even if you think you might but aren't sure yet) so that we can plan and shop accordingly!!
This ride will start at the Bicycles Unlimited parking lot at 6:00pm. Bicycles Unlimited is located at 322 High Street in Greenfield, next to the car wash.
Directions from I-91;
