    Metrowest trail recommendations
I've ridden a lot of Massachusetts trails, but I've relocated to Framingham from the Boston area and am looking for the Metrowest jewels I've been missing out on.

Callahan and Ashland SP make for fine after work rides, and Rayburn, Hodges Dam, and Vietnam are all in my book, what else is around the Metrowest parts? I thought I heard of some trails in Northboro/ Westboro a year or so back -- any hints? Anything along the 495 route in the center of the state? Help a brother out with some recommendations!

I ride Mt. Pisgah a couple times a year. I like, a lot of chunk and some good verticals, too.

Wrentham State Forest is not too far from 495 and pretty decent.

I disagree. Unless it is in your backyard I wouldn't bother riding there.

I didn't really like it the first time I went, but it grew on me. A little on the rocky side, but lots of singletrack. Your right, maybe not worth a long drive to get there but if you live within an hour why not check it out?

I agree. I put together a lot of longer rides combining both Foxboro SF and Wrentham. To be honest, I find Wrentham to be a nice break from the leaf blown, "engineered" trails we've come accustomed to. A good ol' classic New England beat down is refreshing every once in a while.

I actually Enjoy Wrenthem too. Lots and lots of trails there helps if you have some one that knows the trails
