    That would be cool.

I think I've covered most of Dogtown, but ya never know.

I've only been in B&Ts 3 times though. I could use some guidence over there for sure!

I'll drop you a line when either things freeze up enough or clear.

As you wish. I went over to HP for about an hour today. Was pretty fun, though tiring and very hot. Here are some pics. My first time out on the trails.

Slightly over-exposed cause I accidentally left my camera in manual mode and didn't adjust anything. Adjusted it best I could with my amatuer skills.

    Jenkins lot gate.

Ouch. My first battle wound. Happened less than ten minutes in. Those Kona pedals hurt.

    After shower.

And she did get a little dirty. Rode through a few small patches of mud.

    Ouch!

HP is a bit technical for a first ride. Still, it's one of my fave places. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

BTW - I find Great Brook Farm to be a great place for beginners. Fun, but less techie, you should give it a shot.

I mostly ride this Maverick ML7:

Just got it this spring, and love it to death. It's a lot dirtier now than in the photo.

I do most of my riding at the Fells, simply because it's really close to home and I can get there pretty quick without having to drive.

I agree that Great Brook is a good spot for beginners. It's got some easy-but-fun stuff, and some optional tougher stuff when you're ready to step it up. And compared to a lot of New England trails, its pretty well mapped and marked. I go there from time to time because it's a fun laid-back ride, and I know the trail system pretty well so I can go ride for a few hours without having to consult a map or hunt around to find the good stuff.

Otis is pretty cool, but too far away to be worth the trip to me -- except in the winter when it's the only place not snowed over. (Actually, some of the Great Brook trails are open to bikes year round, and are a lot of fun in the winter once the snowshoers and hikers have packed the snow down a bit.)

I really like what I've seen of Harold Parker and Lynn Woods, but I don't know those trail systems so well, and recently I haven't been in the mood to put effort into learning a new area. So I usually just hit the Fells.

Thx I'll have to try Great Brook sometime soon. Yeah there were some spots I hit that were well above my skill lvl, and I got quite lost as to lack of markers. But I did have fun.

I ride through Medfield, Dover, Sherborn and Westwood. Most trails are public, but I have permission for crossing private trails to connect some loops.

Yep, I did point it down.
Got to ride it a bit and I know I will love it. We should ride when the snow melts and the trails dry up.
