Harpoon-Topeak MTB Adventure Series Lynn Woods Kick Off

Harpoon-Topeak MTB Adventure Series Lynn Woods Kick Off

Come ride and support Lynn Woods Reservation on May 29th. There will be all sorts of rides for all levels, including technical riding, a bunch of vendors and bike demos... and of course a party afterwards! All proceeds will go to help this park!

If you've never ridden Lynn, this is a great time to do it.

I had a great time last year, unfortunately I can't make it this year.

They still going to have it considering the weather?
Can't be great for the trails to have all that traffic wet as it's been.
    keep moving

Good question. ...All the proceeds that goto the park won't pay for that kind of damage riding that day will do.

    Fyi

The Park Ranger has received a map of the triails that we plan to use for the event. I have also been in daily contact with him and he feels that the trails we have chosen are more than sustainable for this event.

We will not be marking out the trails until Saturday and if we feel that a section of trail is to wet then we will reroute it to a more sustainable section.

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me.

It would be much wiser to move the event. There will be too much traffic on the trails during that day. Just imagine that say 100 people go through a trail during that day. It's just about how many people will go through that trail a WEEK given that the weather isb good and trails are DRY. Your "reroute" causes them to become mudpits along with the trail that was used. We have enough of those in Lynn Woods, please, don't make it worse!

    Clarification

When is say reroute i am referring to using a different trail.

Not just moving it around the muddy area.
