    Gordon to Beyond

Snuck down to my old haunt to ride with some friends on Saturday. Man, I have ridden a lot of places but the trails in the Hamilton/ Manchester/ Essex area are still some of the finest I know of. Despite the rain that we have had the trails were in perfect shape and the terrain, as always was fantastic. We rode for about three hours with plenty of stops and only a couple minor crashes. I am hoping to get down for at least one more ride this summer. Maybe even do the "Big Kahuna" in September. If any of you have ridden the Kahuna before you know how much fun it is. It is definitely the biggest "under the radar" Mountain bike event I have seen.

Anyway, Just had to remind all of you in the North Shore area how lucky you are to have so many miles of great trails. I live about three hours away and am sometimes wondering why I left.

PS- It is a shame that B&T's has been shut down. Luckily that was just the dessert to a huge meal of fine trails all around the area. Just don't tell anyone and make sure to gorge yourself on the main course!!

    Ps

I'm a total dork for writing that "gorge yourself on the main course" line.
