    Fork Oil in Wmass

Any tips on where to buy fork oil in Western Mass? Needed for Fox 32 fork. Also fox float fluid? If not local, internet supplier?

You can find both at just about any motorcycle shop. Fork oil in abundant supply, and I believe the float fluid can be substitued with gear oil, 80w if I remember correctly. Actually any auto parts store should have the gear oil.

Thanks. I tried one small motorcycle shop in town and their eyes glazed over like they had no clue. I'll try a bigger place. I think I'll get the float fluid from enduro, need some new seals anyways.

Fox makes a lot of 32 forks, so you may need either Fox 10 weight or 7 weight oil. Use this chart to determine which you need
    http://service.foxracingshox.com/con...il_volumes.htm

One company's 5 weight is another's 7 weight is another's 10 weight. The chart at the bottom of this page (http://www.peterverdonedesigns.com/lowspeed.htm) lists almost all fork and shock fluid by actual viscosity so you can determine what you need and what can work as a substitute. I believe Fox oil is rebadged Torco (I know they fill their rear shocks with Torco), but don't quote me on that.

I've ordered Torco fluid from Valley Motorsports in Northampton, and any motorcycle shop can probably do the same. Similarly, any bike shop can call Fox and order Fox Fluid.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm a little nervous to go into Valley , I'm sure the new Apex snowmobiles are sitting on the floor. Must resist... Thanks for the links!
