Congratulations to the finalists for the Boston Mountain Bike Video Awards, who have just been announced:

Sean Curran: Rang - A local’s tour of some of the best riding near Boston.

Rachel Dermer: I Fell - An in-depth, artsy interpretation of an endo. What does it mean? You decide.

Joe Foster and Ben Salloway: To Dirt We Shall Return - A soulful look at mountain biking from the teen’s point of view.

Mark Halliday: Phoebe’s Birthday Party – A flashback reminding us what mountain biking is all about.

Joey Kolbe: Yard Sale - Pain and suffering, and some funny footage, on the infamous Yard Sale at Mt. Snow.

Justin Schroth: Full Circle – Stylish riding by some of the sport’s most accomplished riders, caught on film by last year’s winner of the Most Entertaining and People’s Choice awards.

Jeff Udell: Time Lapse - A grueling 24 hour race condensed into ten minutes, by last year’s Best Production winner.

And thanks to those of you that submitted this year, but didn't make it in. The judges had the tough job of picking the best of the best! We hope you'll all enter again next year.

This year we have more films, more DIRT, more FUN! And believe it or not, this year most films do NOT feature Rye Airfield. ;D We have a wide variety of films for your viewing pleasure.

And of course, Redbones barbecue and Harpoon Beer at our cash bar... at the social gathering of the season.

Visit www.nemba.org to buy tickets to the awards event. Contestants vie for over $1000 worth in prizes, including a Panasonic DVD Burner selected by YOU, the audience, for people's choice. Will any of the newcomers unseat last year’s winners? Come to the event in Watertown, MA on April 29 to find out, and cheer on your favorite film.

I'll be flying out from LA to make it... hope to see you there!
