anybody know what the snow situation/trail conditions are at either tot or nickerson. I am in Plymouth and we still have probably 3 inches that isn't going anywhere soon.

Nickerson has around 3" of the hard and crusty stuff. It was really hard to get around. Some pics from today:

Dirtyjack, I just posted in the Nickerson thread.

Per the Wednesday crew Otis was good to go. They walked one section and were riding skinnys. I assume this cold means its nice and frozen.

That being said, snow is looming for Sunday. Get out and ride tomorrow is my advice. I'll be out there.

I was there on Tuesday and it was pretty great. I know they got a little snow since then and the snow depth chart I go by looks questionable. I'm considering Duxbury and trying to find out if it's better there.

    Cape Snow

I rode Dux today. I was glad I mounted the studs, there was a lot of ice. But lots of bare too. Lesser travelled trails are still best on a fat bike

Can some one update us on the riding in Ottis, i know your going to get some snow this week but it looks like it going to warm up and rain a few days after. I'm getting my new bike any day now, and will drive 2.5 hours to ride it if the trails are in good shape
    Thanks guys

As of yesterday, the trails were in awesome shape. NEMBA had about 20 people doing a trail clean up ride, and there were several large groups from off-Cape enjoying the trails.

Now, as we're apparently about to get a few more inches of snow, and then rain later in the week, I'm going to assume that Otis will be saturated this weekend. I suggest you check back in midweek next week. Cape trails drain very well, so Otis may be ready again by the weekend of 4/5 (if the snowstorm misses the Cape, though, this weekend should be good).

Sooo how did you guys make out in this last storm? Think the trails in Otis will be snow free a week from now?

Made out fine. 3" maybe. It'll be gone in a couple days. Trails should be good for Apr 4-5-6 weekend.
