    Camping on the Cape.

Going to do sme camping around the Bourne , Sandwich area. Want to do some riding while the wife and son are sleeping. Any thoughts on camps and areas to ride in close proximity.
Peters Pond is on the short list.
    Thanks Tom

Yeah, camp at Bayview Camp Ground and ride at otis. You can ride your bike to the trails from there. One thing to note...camping at Bayview or most places on the Cape is not really camping IMO. You may be kept up by the person snoring next to you in the other camp site. It will work though.

We just got back from Shawme Crowell in Sandwich. Nice campground with 10 miles of easy/fast trails (nice for a night ride) and about 9 miles from ToT and 12 miles to Otis. The pass also gives you free parking at several beaches. We went to Boardwalk because it was only a few miles away. The campground is near the highway but I only noticed the noise when it was time to sleep and it wasn't very loud at all. It was like wind. If anything it might have drowned out any noise from the neighbors (I didn't notice any). We were happy with site #83. Plus, its only a couple miles away from restaurants, grocery, etc. The sites are only $12 but we had to book online and the service fees were $8.

Byview was actually pretty cool. Nice people all around. Got in a ride one day good for about 12 miles. Went down powerlines parallel to 28, Found some singletrack that was similar to what we have around here. More rocks though. Gonna go back and try to cover some more ground now I have the slightest clue where Im goin,
    Thanks again
