Bike shop recommendation for North Shore

    Hey gang,

It's about time I get my fork and shock serviced. I would buy the tools and monkey around with it myself, but the living situation doesn't promote that very well.

Any recommendations for a good LBS to go to on the North Shore for this? Looking for good, quality work above all else. Live in Winchesterish area, work in Salem area, so a large range is fair game.

    Thanks in advance!

North Shore Boston - Service and Repair - Electra - Bianchi - Jamis - Focus - Santa Cruz - Centraal Cycle

Centraal Cycle in Beverly. The owner is a former pro mechanic for USA Cycling and rides the trails like the rest of us. I'd probably learn to wrench if he wasn't down the street.

Bike shop recommendation for North Shore

The only shop to use is JRA Cycles in Medford. I just had my Tallboy shock and fork serviced there.

I second the fool. Mark at Centraal is a superior wrench

Thanks for the recommendations! I sense a visit to JRA coming soon...

Edit: I had misread before in email view somehow and replied with Centraal.

Central cycle for sure. Once you deal with Mark there is no other option.

Centraal Cycle, Marc with a C is great mechanic. He loves bikes so much he decided to open his own shop.

You won't go wrong with either shop.

Just bought a couple bikes from Marc at Centraal Cycle and I am extremely happy to have found his shop. Outstanding to work with!
