Next Monday, we'll ride the trails on North Sugarloaf in Deerfield (the bigger hill behind the hill with the picnic area on top). The trails are not exceedingly technical, and you can look forward to a great, long downhill all the way up a long, but mostly moderately steep uphill. We call it the anticipation factor!

Chris Koh will lead this ride. There should be enough parking on Hillside Rd. Get there a couple minutes early so we can start riding at 6:00pm sharp, it's starting to get dark pretty early now.

Directions:
From Amherst area:
Follow Rt. 116 through Sunderland and over the bridge; turn right onto River Rd. (just after the bridge) and drive for 1.4 miles. Turn left up Hillside Rd. After about 0.3 miles look for the starting point of our ride on the left; continue up Hillside Rd. for another 0.2 miles and park on the left side of the street.

From I-91: Get off exit 24 and turn right onto Rt. 5. Take your first right onto Rt. 116. Follow 116 through the light at the base of Sugarloaf and turn left onto River Rd. at the bottom of the hill before the bridge. Drive for 1.4 miles and turn left up Hillside Rd. After about 0.3 miles look for the starting point of our ride on the left; continue up Hillside Rd. for another 0.2 miles and park on the left side of the street.
