    Amherst Riding

I will be in Amherst in a couple weeks for my wife's college reunion. Looking for somewhere I can sneak out to get my ride on. Looking for somewhere I can put in 3 or so hours. Any locations and route suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Tons of options.
To the south of town, Batchelor St and Earle's Trails at/near the Notch Visitors Center on 116
To the north - Mount Toby, Deerfield Ridge, Wendell State Forest.
Toby is fire-roads, but some of the best to ride anywhere. Everything else mentioned is mostly purpose built MTB single track.

Post up when you're in town in the PVNEMBA facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/pvnemba/)and I'm pretty sure you'll get someone to show you around.

From Amherst it's a no brainer: Batchelor St/ Earle's. It'll be the best place you've ridden.

Sweet. I will be out there around 10 or 11 on Saturday. If anyone sees a guy riding a Trigger looking real confused, just point some direction and say "good trails that way"
    Thanks again.

10 or 11 is too late for me to show you around, but if you PM me your email address I can send you a pretty good B street trail map.

The parking lot should be packed with riders Saturday morning. You shouldn't have a problem finding someone to show you around. Enjoy the rocky tech.

Those are some great trails. Not crowded at all though, I got there around 10 or so and there was only 2 or 3 cars parked there. I rode for about 3 hours. Got pretty lost, but then found my bearings. Good stuff.
