Water bottle/gel flask mounting on East Peak

I'm the happy owner of a 2002 East Peak that's looking at the possibility of some longer (6-8 hour) rides this summer. Just wondering what people have done to solve the bottle dilemma, or if I'm just stuck with what I can carry in a pack. I'm reluctant to put a bottle cage on that bottom tube... looks like a prime candidate to get dirty, ripped clean off, etc. Although I admittedly may not have a choice.

Ya, other then a camelback, or mounting on the bottom mounts not much else that I can see. Like you say, it could get ripped off or dirty (it does get dirty, from experience) on the bottom mounts, but it's better the the alternitive and mounting on the top and having a body part rip off .
