Shock upgrades for Wolf Ridge 6.X?

Has anyone upgraded the rear shock on a Wolf Ridge 6.X / Attack Trail 6.X / whatever else it's called?

I've been toying with the idea of upgrading to an RP23 just because that's what the higher-spec versions have, but I'm curious as to what else will work well. I'm mostly interested in adjustable compression damping (I want more) and control over platform damping (I'd like more, but with an on-off switch).

If you've fitted another shock, what kind did you use, and how did you like the results?

RP23 works great on Wolfridge. One day I will push it when it needs service.

I have fit DHX-A but it felt so walloy. It had the HV can and it blew thru the travel. It came off immdiately. Maybe LV can would have worked better?

There aren't too many choices after due to tight fit in the swingarm.
