Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! Quake rear Maxle

Hello all , I joined the MARIN club in December 2010 with a QUAKE 7.3 , which I built up Great , Great bike , I love it thus far I built it up using a pair of MAVIC EX 729 disc rims with Hope pro II hubs . The front uses a 20mm Rock Shocks Maxle and on the rear ,i'm using a BMX style 12mm thru axle without any problems .Sometimes though ,I hear some "clanking" noises coming from the back there ! After doing some checks I re-tightened the axle nuts and fixed the problem temporarily , since but it keeps coming back ! I am afraid to really TIGHTEN the nuts , since the axle is aluminum. I would like to just replace the rear axle with a Maxle and be done with it , does anyone know where I can find the Maxle drop outs for the Quake ?

Shows as sold out on the Marin website. . .
    Marin USA website

I would call and talk with someone to see who they could referrer you to?

Member Pedal Shop stated in an earlier post to make contact that the item could be obtained through them.???
