my new 29er, 09 Marin Alpine (nothing oem about it)

With the help of tkBlazer, my new bike is ready for the dirt just in time for the weekend! Another sincere thanks to Neil and the guys at the Path for removing and pressing the headset for me. Some parts are brand new, some are scavenged from old bikes of mine, the frame was found on CL and i got the fork off eBay.

Here is the breakdown of the build:
    Frame: 09 Marin Alpine 29er | medium
Fork: 2010 RockShox Reba SL 80mm-100mm
    Headset: Chris King
    Stem: Kona XC 75mm
    Handlebar: ODI Flight Control, 750mm
Grips: Sunline Lock-on **UPDATE** new white ESI 'chunky' grips
    Seatpost: Thomson
    Saddle: WTB Rocket V
Wheels: Sun Ringlé Charger Pro, Tubeless (aebike.com cheapest prices around!)
    Tires: Front-Speshy Purgatory "Control" 2.2, Rear-Speshy Captain "Control" 2.2
Cranks: FSA (taken off my 09 coilair) **UPDATE** new slx crankset, 32/22 175mm
    Pedals: Crank Bro's Candy 1's
    Brakes: Shimano 575, 7" rotors
    Front Der: XT (thanks tkblazer!)
    Rear Der: SLX

    On to the pix:

thanks fellas! i have about 4 rides on her and have loved every minute of it!

the only immediate change i will be making is switching out the chainrings from 36/24 to 32/22. gotta get my granny-on!

in the near future, i'd like to upgrade my brakes.

i've been riding her twice a week on dirt and can't get enough, lifes good!
