Lower pivot bolts keep coming loose!!!

Well, after the rear shock got serviced, the bolts on the lower pivots will come loose after about four rides!!! WTF!!!

Dear Marin, how do I fix this?

Torque wrench and purple loctite (or new nylocks). Unless you have stripped something.

I use the heavy duty red Loctite 271. Retighten after 1 ride.

Here's my concern: The loctite may violate some weird warranty clause.

I torque mines to 110 in-lbs. I think the manual says the max is 130 in-lbs.

I find that Marin's UK site has a lot more resources vs. their US site. Look for "FRS" or "Service Manual" which lists the torque specifications for the nuts attached to the throughbolt links.

Awesome, that is helpful. The manual I was reading has totally different numbers.
