    Frame Change

I recently just bought a Marin East Peak. It's an 07. While I was looking it up online. I noticed the newer East Peaks have more of a "standard" frame around the rear suspension. Could someone explain the reason?...... Just curious.

    Thanks.
    2007 Marin East Peak.

Completely different model, just the same old name, nothing common with your East Peak
Look at the bikes' specs - they are equipped with low level components, that's an affordable (cheap, low-level?) Marin branded bike, so they don't have the Quad Link suspension
