    2011 Pine Mountain 29r thoughts..

Any experience with this bike ?

I found very little to no feedback othe interwebs...

I just ordered it on the cool paintjob alone....

    Any input would be nice....thanks.

Good timing. Been checking this one out, and it looks ideal to me: butted steel frame, geared specific, and the 19" looks like the geometry I want (on paper). Would like to find one to test ride locally, but I'd guess not a lot of shops are stocking it.

What's your ETA? 2011 is a revised model, so definitely post a review up when you get a chance.

    Bonking ... not feelin' well

The bike rides like a freaking dream.

    I love it.

The rear end is a bit twitchy and sometimes when under power in the turns the rear end skips around. The bike is.great in climbs, descents, swithbacks and the geometry is very comfortable.

I get tons of compliments on this bike!

Just picked up one of these for a great price since the season is ending. I was lucky enough to get the last one in my area.

It is awesome on flowing single track and climbs like a goat. The paint job gets lot of looks too.

I had the same problem with the rear end skipping around on turns.

Love this bike, was considering it but got an insane deal on a nail trail 29er. Picking it up next Friday.

I picked up a Pine Mtn. 29er a few months ago.
Rides great and will really crank on long fire road uphills.
I've since bought a Mt. Vision 5.7 for off road and converted the Pine Mtn. to a commuter.
With Serfas Drifter tires @ 55psi the 29" wheeled steel frame is an awesome bike to commute on.
I routinely make my 4.5 mile ride through town in the mid 13 minute range.

It's a little heavy for XC racing, but you should be fine in the novice/intermediate classes.
