    2011 marin?

saw some sneak peaks....and i've got to say, as a marin fan, it looks REALLY SICK!

    what i've seen:
new 4 inch platform (quad link style! straighter tubes!)
    http://twitpic.com/25wr3s

    carbon 29'er (straight tubes! sexy!)
    http://twitpic.com/29rd4r

2011 mount vision (140mm! lighter! slimmer swingarm!)

According to the great guys at the SF store, there might also be a Titanium 29er (once again built by Lynskey)!

The marin blog has pictures of something that looks like a full suspension without quad-link: http://www.marinbikes.com/bicycle/bi...8/IMG_6030.jpg

Any word on whether they'll have a price point around the $1000 range in a 29er? Right now, all you have is the Alpine Trail for around $750, then it jumps to the Palisades Trail which almost twice as much at $1350. Wish there was something in between. I really love the feel of the Alpine Trail, but it comes with very entry level components.

It looks like there's gonna be an even larger price gap now. The Palisades Trail is gone. The Alpine Trail got some minor upgrades, the Pine Mountain is now fully geared, and the Bolinas Ridge is now the cheapest 29er. So it's either high-end or low-end. Nothing in the middle.

It seems they have closed it now. I wasn't supposed to be public.

    Nice.

Much prefer the straighter tubes than the swoopy ones (2010, 2009 etc)
