    2006 AL7 quake rear shock

I have a DHX air on the rear of this bike, it runs well, but thinking about getting a coil in the back. any thought on air vs coil on the Quakes??
    Any difference in travel?

I had a dhx 3.0 air on mine. It was terrible. If I got the sag right, it would blow through the travel at the slightest hint of a bump and if I firmed it up to cope with actually riding, no sag. It couldn't cope with repetitive high speed compression, just packed up and went dead. I spent a fair bit of time fiddling with it but no joy.

I've got a coil dhx 5.0 now. Its much better but still no quite there. I may get it pushed when it comes to service time.
