New question here. 150/160mm fork on 2012 Mount Vision, bad idea?

Just wondering if it's going to mess up the geometry of my 2012 MV when running a 150mm or 160mm Fox Float Fit.

I know it's a different design and geometry, but since a Santa Cruz Blur LT can take anything from 140-160mm, can a MV do the same?

Anyone out there has tried this?

Shouldn't be a problem with the 32 Float. I've seen a few with Rev 150's which have a taller Ac than the 32 Float. The 34 and 36 set at 150 have a taller AC than the 32 Float though.

I've run a Rev 150 on my WR with out any problems. i had to add 5 psi more air in the shock to balance it out. I've seen ridiculous size forks on other WR's but they were for Shuttle runs only. Anything more than a 150 would unbalance the rear suspension to much for general trail riding IMHO.

I have a 150mm Rev on my 2012 MV and it handles fine, the higher AC (axle to crown) has (in theory) only slackened the head angle by half a degree or so, so you should be fine with running a 150 Fox fork.
I don't crash, I just have slightly uncontrolled dismounts!

You also slackened the seattube-angle. And were you want to slacken the headtube-angle you don't want to mess with the seattube-angle. But moving to a 150mm would not cause a major change. 160 would ruin it unless you don't climb but only ride downhill.
