G2 Offset Fork for Lynskey Pro 29?

I am building up a Lynskey Pro 29 hardtail. I was wondering if handling can be further improved (or harmed) by using a G2 (51mm) offset fork. I have to choose between standard or the G2 and travel is 100mm. Any advice or shared experiences are appreciated. Thanks.
