    What's better? 2005 Pisgah or 2001 tanasi.

Hey guys, For a 205 lb hard cranking rider, which would be superior. The tanasi is $500 more but it has seen fewer hours and has slightly better parts.

    Thanks

    Pisgah should handle your girth

I just finished building up a new Pisgah and I'm amazed by the ride. I'm 6'5" and 225 pounds and Litespeed designed me a frame for off-road touring. The frame is very large but proportional.

I rode the bike yesterday on the flats and was impressed by the acceleration and power transfer. Today, I took to the hills and the superstiff chain and seat stays really help to make this a good climbing frame.

I approached 4 Canadian builders but everyone wanted to sell me a 29'er and I didn't want one b/c I plan on riding a lot in South America and you won't find tires and rims there.
Lightspeed then became my choice b/c I already owned an Ultimate and knew of their quality.

The frames are made from different Titanium if memory serves right and the tubes are shaped differently as well.(Tanasi 6/4 Ti - Pisgah 3/2.5 Ti)

Offhand I dunno what effect that has on the ride.
